Where is DG Doughnuts and what are your hours?

We're at 29 W McKey St Ste 200, Ocoee, FL 34761-2614 — downtown Ocoee on McKey Street, one block west of Bluford Ave, across from the Withers-Maguire House. Open every day, 7:00am to 5:00pm, or until we sell out.

What time should I come for the best selection?

Before 9am is the fullest case. We hand-fry once each morning — there's no fryer running all day — so the freshest and fullest selection is right after open, and once a flavor is gone, it's gone. Usually by early afternoon the specialty flavors are out.

Is there parking?

Accepted Answer

Yes — street parking directly out front on McKey Street plus a lot around the corner. It's a walk-up storefront, no drive-thru.

Do you sell out?

Regularly. We fry once a day, and nothing carries over to the next day — when a flavor is gone, it's gone. Ordering ahead is the only way to guarantee a specific doughnut.

What happens to leftover doughnuts at the end of the day?

Accepted Answer

We don't carry anything over to the next day. Anything unsold at close gets packaged up into mystery boxes, ready for a quick grab-and-go the next morning — a budget way to still get DG without paying for a full dozen.

Do you do more than doughnuts?

Accepted Answer

Plenty. Espresso drinks, drip and cold brew, loose-leaf tea hot or iced, and real food — breakfast sandwiches, burgers, clubs and bowls made when you order. Coffee, tea and eats, same counter.

Can I order ahead online?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Order online and we'll have it boxed with your name on it at the counter. You can also schedule an order up to 7 days out, including for a time we're currently closed.

Do you offer delivery?

We deliver within 10 miles of the shop. Pickup is always available and always free.

What's the difference between hand-cut and machine-made doughnuts?

Accepted Answer

Most shops extrude or stamp dough with a machine, which compresses it and makes every ring identical. We roll the dough out and cut each one by hand every morning. They're not perfectly round — the crumb is lighter and it eats better.

Do you have vegan, gluten-free or allergen-friendly options?

Our kitchen handles wheat, dairy, eggs, nuts and soy daily, so we can't call anything allergen-free. Ask at the counter or call us and we'll tell you honestly what's in a given batch.

How much notice do you need for a catering order?

Accepted Answer

Standard dozens need the least notice; custom-decorated boxes and event installs like donut walls need more. Exact lead times per item are listed on the catering page, and the request form checks your date against them before you submit.

Do you do weddings and donut walls?

Accepted Answer

Yes — walls, towers, custom flavors and mini bites. Send a request with your date and headcount and Christy or Nick will reply with a real quote.

Is there a minimum for catering?

Volume pricing kicks in by the dozen and discounts stack as the order grows. Delivery inside 10 miles is free over 10 dozen; below that it's a flat courier fee we quote you up front.

Is there a rewards program?

Accepted Answer

Yes — Dough. You earn 1 Dough per $1 when you pay by card, and 3 Dough per $1 when you pay from your DG wallet. 100 Dough is a free classic doughnut or a classic coffee or tea; premium items cost more. It works the same online and at the counter — give your phone number at the register and it lands on your account.

How long have you been open?

Since 2016 DG started in 2016 out of a home kitchen, then farmers markets and a doughnut counter in Oakland and around West Orange County. Amanda Eubanks and Dave Hancock built the name and opened the McKey Street shop in April 2022. Christy and Nick Hess took it over and run it now.
